My name is Shawn Miller. I founded this company in 1996 in Johnson City, TN. Back then it was called New Age Computers. The idea when I created that name was that we were in the new age of computers. I later learned that there was a religion out there called the New Age Religion that many people disliked and thought I was affiliated with.
I sold the company in 2001 and the new owner changed the name to Networking And Computers. In the spring of 2003 I opened a store in Greeneville TN and then in the fall of 2003 I opened the store in Bristol VA. I took the new owner on as a partner. In August 7, 2007 I bought out my partner’s interest in the Greeneville and Bristol stores and allowed him to keep the Johnson City store. As of 2014 he is no longer in business.
To distinguish my new company from his I changed the name to Computer Pros. In 2011 we opened a store in Elizabethton TN.
What We Do
We are a full service computer and electronics repair center. We carry a large inventory of parts in stock for same day repairs when needed. We can fix your home computer or come out to your business to help with a server problem. We are the region’s leading laptop repair facility performing even the most detailed repairs which can save a significant amount of money by repairing a board rather than replacing it. We fix TVs and cell phones also.

I will always speak the truth. I will not mislead others or tell white lies. What I promise is what I deliver. I only make agreements with myself and others that I fully intend to keep. I communicate any potential problems with my agreements at the first opportunity and try my best to always resolve them immediately.
I speak positively of my fellow team members, my clients, and Computer Pros in both public and private. I speak with purpose using positive conversation. I always try to use the customers name when speaking with them and do so in a friendly and positive attitude. All concerns are discussed in private.

I learn from my mistakes. I constantly learn and grow so that I can help my fellow team members and clients learn and grow. I provide my clients with the best information available so they can make educated decisions.
I am part of a team and will always act to better the team. I do whatever it takes to achieve team goals. I focus on cooperation with the team when there is a concern. I am flexible with my work and willing to change for the benefit of the team. I will ask for help when needed and gladly take the opportunity to help others when they need it.
8. Fun:I view my life as a journey to be enjoyed and appreciated. I create an atmosphere of fun and happiness so that all around me can enjoy it also. I wear this attitude every day and it is easily visible to others.
I always look to the system, company, or policy for a solution. If a challenge arises I look to see why it occurred and what can be done to prevent it from happening again. I recognize there is always room for improvement and will recommend any ideals to increase efficiency and productivity.
I am consistent with my actions so clients and teammates will always feel comfortable dealing with me. I am disciplined with my work so that my results and growth are consistent.
I am a truly grateful person. I say “Thank You” often to show appreciation. I recognize the simple comments of others such as phone notifications with this term. I appreciate everyone and everything in my life. I recognize that everyone contributes toward the team. I celebrate the wins of my clients, my teammates, and myself. I look for ways to catch others doing things right so I can point it out to them.
I believe in leadership by example. We are all part of the team and no task is too petty for anyone. We all have our goals but we must keep in mind the greater good and help others when needed. I will always try to be a good leader and help others through my examples.
I will always strive to fix the customer first and the computer second through assurance that we can help and empathy of their problem. If a problem arises I will apologize first, and then fix the problem second. I recognize that attitude is the most important aspect when dealing with a customer problem.
